有些电子感觉的Half the World Away 都不同于乐队以往创作。Standing on the Shoulder of Giants是英国史上销售第六快的专辑，首周发行便卖出31万张。尽管这张成为他们第4张英国冠军专辑，但也是Oasis有史以来卖的最差的一张，全球仅卖出3百多万张。
