Virtuous Unity is the first custom Sense 3.0 ROM, scaled for WVGA screens, to be based on an official shipping release from HTC (Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1). The entire ROM is brand new, taking no application or framework components from any prior Sense 3 releases.

The ROM is officially being released concurrently for 5 devices: HTC DesireZ/G2, HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire S, HTC Inspire 4G and HTC Incredible S.
Unity is the result of a collaborative, team effort by the following developers:Flemmard, rmk40, m-deejay and chrisch1974 and me.

We worked together on this new ROM. If you want to use it as base then you must have the permission from us. If you want to join us to improve the ROM please contact us and we will be happy to find new members.

We seem to have problems with automatic app install during first boot. So some apps (like GMail) are missing.
But these apps got copied to your sdcard during flash. You can manually install them from there.
You'll find these apps here: /sdcard/virtuous_unity/app.user/

Features
Based on the official Sensation shipping ROM (Pyramid_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1).
Ported for full functionality on the HTC DesireZ/G2 and DesireHD. Additional device support is coming soon.
Resized for WVGA (800x480) displays, using a purpose built tool to modify HTC’s proprietary m10 binaries, developed by Flemmard and Diamondback.
Heavily optimized for fluid performance and usability.
Overclocked kernels with numerous additional kernel modules.  DHD kernel courtesy of m-deejay, Vision kernel by rmk.
Built-in screen state frequency scaling (1.2Ghz-245MHz/ondemand screen-on, 806Mhz-245Mz/conservative screen-off), via custom built virtuous_oc C daemon.
Trackpad wake support (DesireZ/G2 only).
WiFi calling (G2 T-Mobile USA only).
Fully functional device hardware, including wifi, bluetooth, camera, camcorder, etc.
Market-sourced applications (Gmail, Maps, Voice, etc) automatically installed on first boot into /data/app for easy removal.
Bloatware and unnecessary applications removed.
  
Technical Notes
Virtuous’ overclocking daemon will automatically be disabled if an overclocking tools (such as SetCPU or CPU Tuner) is installed.  Installing these tools is not advised, as the virtuous_oc daemon responds far more rapidly to screen state changes than any Android (Java) application.
Clockwork Recovery v3.x.x is required.
All filesystems are mounted using ext4 with writeback journaling. Be sure to shut down your phone properly as opposed to pulling the battery when possible.
Due to the size of the ROM and partition sizes available on the target devices, /system/app has been relocated to /data/system.app. The end result is that any factor reset or data wipe requires that the ROM be re-flashed. If you wipe after flashing, you will boot loop.

Developers and Ports
Virtuous Unity, or any components therein, may not be ported to other devices without explicit email approval from the development team.  We will be approving ports, presuming the develop of a given port is ready and willing to follow the same revision control and release processes currently employed for the DZ/G2 and DHD versions.
